Dear CMBV Families,

Hari Om! By the Lord's grace and Pujya Gurudev's blessings, welcome to Chinmaya Bala Vihar (CMBV) 2026-27! Please read all the information below.

 

Day 1: Sep 13

  • Attire: Indian
  • All returning students must bring their BV bag with binder/pen/pencils and My Prayers book.
  • Students whose registration was completed (form and payment received) by Aug 16 will receive their materials on Day 1. All others will be given their materials as soon as they are available.
  • After the prayer assembly, class rosters will be announced and teachers will lead their students to the respective classrooms. All parents will attend the Orientation session, which will cover the program overview, syllabus, guidelines, communications, and calendar.

 

Weekly Sessions

Sundays, 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. (Be seated by 10:25 a.m.)    JCHYK Class on Zoom 6:00-7:30 p.m.

Venue: Shirdi Sai Temple, 4761 Raulerson Dr, Lake Worth 33463   

Modest and comfortable/loose attire appropriate for floor seating

For festivals and pujas: Indian attire; long hair tied; no sleeveless tops; no shorts; wear bindi or tilak (boys and girls)

Oct 11: Navaratri in assembly

Nov 8: Divali Archana + Costume Parade

Mar 7: Mahashivaratri in assembly + Art from the Heart

Mar 14: Chinmaya Gita Chanting Competition 2027

Apr 18: Rama Navami/Hanuman Jayanti/Holi Family Picnic

May 9: Shri Chinmaya Jayanti/CMBV Year-End Balafest

 

Class Materials

Be sure to see the Books Coordinator and collect your child's class materials if not collected at Orientation. Late registrants must see the Books Coordinator each week after completing registration (materials will be given as soon as they are available).

 

Your Family's Prasad Offering

Each family offers Prasad and arati at Chinmaya Bala Vihar once in the CMBV year. Click here to find your family's date and follow the instructions.

 

Homework

Class HW is listed for the full year here for absentees to complete any missed assignments before their next class. All students are responsible for maintaining continuity in learning, as it affects class progress.
