   CM Gita Chanting Competition / CORD Seva / Sacrifice, Save, Serve Campaign

Chinmaya Mission's Shrimad Bhagavad Gita Competition was conceived by Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda and is conducted for various ages by CM centers worldwide. Millions have benefited attending and/or participating.

CORD (Chinmaya Organization for Rural Development) is a social services initiative that offers various health, hygiene, education, agricultural, and economic programs to needy villagers. Through CORD, you can support rural development, natural disaster relief, orphanges, schools, vocational training centers, microbanking for women, and other noteworthy projects. CM Miami conducts various events open to the community, including Hindu festival celebrations and jnana yajnas (spiritual discourses) and workshops by various CM swamins/brahmacharins.

Weekly Vedanta Classes for Kids, Youth, Adults

Chinmaya Mission conducts weekly classes for adults (Chinmaya Study Groups), youth (CHYK), and children on Hindu culture, based on the universal philosophy of Advaita Vedanta (universal Oneness). We welcome all students, from all backgrounds, to our classes and activities, which promote spiritual growth through knowledge, devotion, and service. See more details below. Chinmaya Bala Vihar (CMBV) for Children

CMBV is a forum for children in Ggades pk12 to learn Advaita Vedanta, including fundamental concepts of Hinduism and the study of Hindu escriptures, including Ramayana, Shrimad Bhagavata, and Shrimad Bhagavad Gita.

Chinmaya Yuva Kendra (CHYK) for Young Adults

CHYK is a forum for university students and young adults (ages 18-28 years) to learn Advaita Vedanta through introductory texts, Bhagavad Gita, and the Upanishads. Study Group classes are free; all are welcome.

Chinmaya Study Group for Adults

CM Study Groups are forums for adults to learn Advaita Vedanta through study, discussion, and reflection on introductory Vedantic texts, Bhagavad Gita, and the Upanishads. Study Groups are free; all are welcome.

Mission Statement: To provide to individuals, from any background, the wisdom of Vedanta and the practical means for spiritual growth and happiness, enabling them to become positive contributors to society

Motto: To give the maximum amount of happiness to the maximum number of beings for the maximum amount of time

 

Weekly classes September to May unless stated otherwise:

          - Bhagavad Gita on Zoom year-round: Saturdays, 9-10am

          - Dhyana Svarupam on Zoom: Sundays 11am-12pm

          - Dhyana Svarupam in person: Sundays 11am-12pm in Lake Worth

          - Ramayana in-person: Tuesdays 7-8:15pm in South Miami
